Our client based in the Denbighshire area are seeking an experienced Receptionist/File Clerk to provide a range of support services including the central reception for Caledfryn, maintenance of a centralised filing system for the building, ensuring the efficient storage, retrieval, retention, archiving and secure destruction of documents in line with service requirements.
This position is expected to last one month, but may be longer.
Main duties:
Provide an efficient and friendly ‘first contact’ reception service for callers, visitors and Councillors, in Welsh and English.
Manage the reservation of the meeting rooms, including approving bookings through the online system, ensuring refreshments are available, and recharging where applicable.
Manage the day to day operation of the central filing system locating, storing and retrieving files as required, including the use of a computerised file management system.
Responsibility for the receipt of, recording, and distribution of all post and packages received in the building, including any scanning required in order to distribute mail electronically.
Any other duties commensurate with the grade and salary of the post.
