TITLE: CLAIMS ADVISOR / CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR - CLAIMS | INSURANCE
HOURS: 35 Hours p/week
SALARY: £13-18K Dependant on experience

WHO:
Our client is one of the UKs leading motor insurance providers and has 10 x vacancies within their Claims department based in Manchester City Centre. The Claims Customer Management team is responsible for customers accidental damage and theft claims. The team liaise with customers repairers in-house engineers and independent engineers to ensure the claim is dealt with proactively and efficiently to the satisfaction of all parties concerned.
ROLE:
The Customer Management Advisor will play a key role in providing our policyholders with an excellent standard of customer service, whilst ensuring all claims for instances of accidental damage and theft are dealt with within the terms of the policy cover.
Delivery of the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction are paramount, combined with the requirement to make decisions about the validity and correct processing of a claim. Strong inter-personal skills and tact will be essential when circumstances of potential fraud are being investigated.
Once the claim has been referred by the Incident Management team, the Advisor will deal with the initial enquiry and ensure the claim is handled efficiently. The Customer Management team will deal with external suppliers, eg accident management companies and appointed garages, during the settlement process.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:
Excellent customer service skills, including demonstrable evidence of providing high standards of customer care
Previous claims experience would be beneficial in securing a higher salary (home / travel / motor / pet / medical)
Numeracy and Literacy to GSCE level
