UK & International Claims Consultancy requires Expert Witness (Delay & Disruption) for the largest infrastructure case in the UK!!!
My client is a UK & International Claims Consultancy which is split into 5 separate areas including Claims preparation and Defence, Acceleration, Damages, Loss & Expense, Loss of Productivity and Variation & Changes. They have built up a long standing relationship with Solicitor and Barrister practices and are currently developing a centre of excellence for Expert Litigation services.
Thus they are looking for an Expert Witness (Delay & Disruption) to work upon one of the largest and most complex heavy civils cases in the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitation for Partnering, PFI and Framework Agreements
- Preparation, presentation and negotiation of tenders for projects from £1million to £700 million in the UK and internationally.
- Experience in the presentation and negotiation of claims for international and heavy engineering projects.
- Project management and planning for construction work together with critical path analysis.
- Retrospective delay analysis for dispute resolution and extension of time claims.
- Measurement of executed works for interim and final accounts.
- Compilation and presentation of loss and expense claims.
- Use of multimedia techniques to visualize complex technical problems.
- Report writing for programme and quantum liability when in dispute.

- Management of teams of engineers and surveyors for the preparation of multi million pound claims.

WHO YOU ARE
? Chartered Civil Engineer or Chartered QS background with over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry.
? You will be dual legal qualified with either a LLB/LLM in Law or have legal affiliations including being a Chartered Adjudicator, Arbitrator or Mediator.
? You will fundamentally have substantive experience as an Expert Witness called upon by solicitors/legal practices and will have being cross-examined in court.
? You will be a proven fee earner.
