Title: Export Sales Manager
The business specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of specialist environmental building products and is a leading supplier of external building systems to the construction industry.
As the market leader with an outstanding reputation for innovation and excellence, the Company has established relationships with main contractors, specifiers and architects on an international basis.
The existing highly experienced and skilled team have established a strong brand in the UK, and have a clear strategy to maintain growth levels by further extending international reach. They now seek to supplement this by appointing an enthusiastic business developer experienced in specification selling overseas particularly in the Middle East. The role will be based in the Gloucestershire region, but with significant travel overseas to the target markets.
The Role
*To develop overseas markets, particularly the Middle East
*To work with the sales, contracting and commercial teams to deliver profitable projects
*Develop and grow new partnerships internationally
*Grow the business through developing relationships with key accounts
The Requirements
*Proven experience of sales development of overseas markets
*Technical sales experience, preferably gained in a similar industry. Proven ability to achieve agreed targets
*Experience of selling to architects, construction companies and specifiers in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have experience of networking in the specified region and will have an understanding of the cultural and commercial environment. A portfolio of current contacts with potential agents would be an advantage.
*Technical competence with the ability to visualise in 3D and work from architectural drawings
*Previous experience in a business which operates within external building systems or building façades.
*Preferably educated to degree standard, or equivalent. A knowledge of languages would be beneficial
