EXPORT SHIPPING CLERK - Freight Forwarding
Immediate start available - salary £19,000 to £20,000
We are working with a Freight Forwarding organisation based in the East Midlands who is eager to source an experienced EXPORT SHIPPING CLERK to work onsite at one of their largest and most prestigious customers premises.
The role of EXPORT SHIPPING CLERK will be responsible for handling all aspects of shipping;
" Arranging export shipments via Airfreight, Seafreight & Roadfreight
" Completing and Raising all Export Shipping Documentation
" Liaising with Freight Forwarders to make Export bookings
" Raising and checking Letters of Credit
" Handling Hazardous Export shipments
" Tracing & tracking Export consignments
" Completing all Shipping administration
" Liaising with internal & external customers to resolve any shipping issues which arise.
For this role we require a Shipping Clerk who has experience of all Shipping Documentation to include Letters of Credit and has previously handled Hazardous Freight shipments. As the role is based onsite with a large customer it is essential that all applicants have strong communication and customer service skill, are well presented and dedicated in their approach.
