The Opportunity
As an External Audio Visual Account Manager you will work closely with existing clients across the North of England, in particular a major retail client based in the North West. You will also have the opportunity to develop further business with blue-chip corporates, national and international retailers, Local Authorities, schools, colleges and universities. You will work in a consultative way to provide total AV solutions- this can range from entire new boardroom systems, auditoria, video conferencing suites and classroom systems, to replacement projectors, interactive whiteboards, voting systems, digital signage, LCD & plasma screens and consumables. With a strong client base already in existence, this is an excellent opportunity to maximise current sales opportunities and further develop the territory, bringing in new customers as well as account managing the existing. This will require you to research and identify new opportunities for the company, including the use of networking and marketing channels. To succeed in this role you will need to ensure a consistently exceptional level of customer care for all clients and develop a strategy to ensure customer loyalty and increase the likelihood of repeat business, including canvassing of customer feedback. You will also deliver high quality on-site training and demonstrations of Audio Visual equipment. Part of your role will be to ensure accurate data capture and data management on the company's CRM system.
As the company continues to follow its business plan of sustainable growth there will be opportunities for career advancement into managerial roles or key account management. The company also hold regular training sessions for their sales staff, which you will be required to attend and contribute to. The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to the company beyond just their sales figures, but including the growth and direction of the company in terms of its services and culture. In the short term, there are excellent opportunities to earn high levels of commission. You will be based from home and report to the companies head office in Surrey, and will be selling in the field for the vast majority of your time.

Basic Salary £23k-£28k p.a.£45k-£50k OTE uncapped commission plus carallowance,laptop and mobile.

Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements
You will be a proven business to business/government sales professional, with excellent selling skills to senior manager level in the education sector. Must have experience of selling AV solutions to the education, public or private sectors. Knowledge of the latest AV equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, digital signage, voting systems, audio systems, video conferencing and projectors would be an advantage. Knowledge of AV applications in a retail environment (including digital signage and interactive displays) would be an advantage. Must be an accomplished account manager, with a track record of success in the AV industry. You will need excellent communication, presentation and end-user training skills. Must be ambitious with a desire to succeed in an account management role and progress your career with a dynamic organisation.
