Job Description:

·To join the core explicit product creation team with drive and enthusiasm to work independently or as part of a team on a wide variety of projects

·Research and development in relation to explicit transient dynamic simulation software

·Implementation, verification and validation of new product features

·Planning and progress reporting

·Maintenance of released product features

Job requirements:

·1. Good honours degree in a related Engineer, Mathematics or Physics subject, PhD preferred

·2. Industrial experience or post-graduate studies in numerical simulation development (FEA or CFD)

·3. Keen interest and working knowledge of numerical simulation and/or numerical methods

·4. Experienced in software development (Fortran 90/95, C/C++ )

·5. A strong knowledge of explicit dynamics FEA/CFD software beneficial

·6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

·7. Preference will be given to candidates with a good working knowledge of impact dynamics/shock physics.
