Job Description
Facilities / Estates / Contracts Manager

Our Client
My client is one of the UK's Leading construction, facilities management and building consultancy firms. With an unrivalled portfolio of current and finished projects they continue to set the standards in the building industry.

With a worldwide annual turnover in excess of £18 Billion they are using the recession to improve and expand in areas that other companies are shying away from.

PFI is one major sector that they are prominent in and my client holds various PFI contracts throughout the UK within the Education and Healthcare sectors.


The Role

The role is a combination of Facilities/Estates/Contract Manager rolled into one.

You will be accountable for the a PFI Hospital site and various smaller local site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing a full and comprehensive maintenance service to a PFI Hospital. This currently consists of a 4-Phase extension at the site and also a new building at a smaller local site.

The role includes the responsibility for the day-to-day running and organising of directly employed staff and external contractors to ensure that they are directed, co-ordinated and controlled to deliver fast, efficient, high quality and cost effective service.

The M&E Presence on site is already strong and therefore the successful candidate will have previous experience within the build and facilities management arenas.

You will be expected to take full ownership of the project and ensure that the contract is delivered to the highest of standards.
