Swim are looking for a Families and Community Development Worker in Leicester initially for the next 2-3 months.
Duties to include:
. Recruiting, training, mentoring and managing volunteers and scheme.
. Recruiting to and coordinating parents forum, a committee for local parents to have input into the work of the centre
. Organising training and courses for parents/carers in line with centre targets and ECM's
. Writing newsletter articles for school and community newsletters
To be considered you must have
. Events experience
. Experience of organising and coordinating work around dads and male carers in the area including monthly dads event
. Be prepared to work occasional Saturdays and evenings
. Have experience of running groups e.g. young parents stay and play
Candidates must have hold a current CRB and be a car driver.
