Field Based Desktop Support Engineer, Bristol; Microsoft Networking Hardware Server
Our client, a major software house providing IT services and solutions to large corporate and public sector organisations is currently seeking a Field Based / Mobile Desktop Support Engineer to provide support and troubleshooting around the Bristol area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s premier Microsoft Gold partners that specialise in high end application and infrastructure management.
The successful candidate will evaluate and troubleshoot Desktop related issues, reacting to customer issues and resolve them in situ when a remote fix is not possible.You will carry out Desktop Rollout tasks and provide ongoing Desktop support to users, including project based work.
The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and experience:-
- Microsoft Desktop Support
- Hardware Builds, Installs and Upgrades
- Perform Desktop Rollout tasks
- Active Directory
- Core Microsoft Server Technologies
- Networking such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Structured cabling
- Application Migration
You will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to prioritise own workload with the capability to multi-task.
