Brook Street are currently working with Microsoft to recruit a Field Marketing Communications person to work at there Headquarters in Reading on a contract for service until June 2010.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Sales Marketing & Services Group (SMSG) supporting marketing strategies and marketing communication efforts to the Field Sales, Marketing and Services Organisation to ensure that the field understands the available Readiness solutions, offerings and activities.
The primary goal of the Field Marketing Communications person is to support consumption of Readiness through supporting the Field Readiness Manager (FRM) to build the reputation and help propel a culture for learning within Microsoft.
Key areas of responsibility;
Assist Regional Field Marketing and Communication Plans
Assist Area Readiness Directors (ARM) / Field Readiness Managers (FRM) the overall readiness marketing communication plan for GCR SMSG Support the communications of readiness value proposition and brand in region - aligned with Global Strategy
Support Field Marketing and Communications in RegionSupport marketing and communications activities for readiness team and related communications activities to support execution excellence.
Operate Regional Campaigns & Promotions in RegionImplement and operate region-specific MarCom promotions, events and programs to influence and increase region course consumption which are aligned with WW program
Corporate with Area Readiness Directors / Field Readiness ManagersIncrease awareness of readiness offering consumption which in full collaboration with the ARM and FRM.
Communication with Microsoft Corporate OfficeCommunicate regularly with Readiness Program Managers on programs that are being delivered to the fieldProvide ongoing feedback from ARM/FRM`s to Corporate Readiness Program Managers.
The ideal candidate will possess great oral and written communication skills, and be an action-oriented individual with a high degree of customer focus.
You will have the capability for planning, organizing and coordinating your own work and that of the team, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Also required is the ability to work in a highly matrix environment, as a member of a virtual team, and the ability to weigh and act on competing priorities while driving a variety of actions to completion.
This role is very much suited to somebody who enjoys the execution elements of the role as much as the planning.
Salary: £53,360
Location: TVP, Reading
Contract: Until June 2010 in which time it will eb reviewed
