Field Sales - Commercial insurance - Home Based - Commercial General Insurance Sales person, specialist is required for a major risk management and Insurance Broker organisation. The company provides commercial, business, personal, healthcare and professional insurance, with a risk management service built in.
ROLE: Commercial insurance Field Sales - Pure field sales. Some leads provided.
LOCATION: Manchester / Lancashire Region
SALARY: £30k Basic for first 3 months, reverting to high level commission only after 3 months. You will get 85% of all business averaged over the first 3 months, and more commission on top of that, to ensure you alwayts have a large amount of salary coming in.
ROLE: This is a pure home based, field sales role, your role is the winning and retaining accounts predominantly utilising a delegated underwriting authority from a major UK Insurer which provides the ability for the individual to bind risks across a wide customer base. Full back office support being provided by a well resourced and dedicated team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Being able to generate new premium income from new clients, through own sourcing, and through Company provided leads
Incorporating all underwriting principles within new business generation on behalf of the insurer for delegated authority business
Providing clients with a face to face risk management service
Providing excellent customer service
Ensuring agreed sales projections are achieved.
Managing renewal retention in conjunction with the Support Team, for an existing book of business.
Maintaining compliant sales and service process in line with the Industry regulatory framework

The Person
To be considered for the position, you will have had proven experience within a commercial general insurance field sales role. General Insurance underwriting experience is desirable given the business holds the pen for a significant insurer and writes most business at point of sale.
Experience in the risk management industry would be a major advantage for the candidate to possess.
You will thrive on working towards targets and will be able to demonstrate past achievements. Working from home, you will be self motivated and focussed in delivering KPI’s. Must have field sales, home working sales experience.
