Our client specialises in design engineering consulting covering the mechanical, architectural, infrastructure and electrical industries. They are one of the UK’s largest CAD resellers offering design software solutions, training and consultancy support to their clients.
A position has been made available for a Field Sales Account Manager. The role will require you to contribute to the sales effort of the client by seeking new business opportunities, extending and managing customer relationships thereby generating new sales leads, dealing with enquiries and providing excellent customer service to your own client base.
Person Specification
You must have a proven track record in software sales. New business generation is the main focus of this role so the successful applicant must be target driven and able to work under pressure. You must be confident communicating at director level and posses strong negotiation skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- BEng (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2.2 classification
- 3 years industrial experience working as an engineer or designer within the mechanical, electrical or construction industry.
- 2 years minimum experience selling software solutions within the mechanical, electrical or construction industry.
- Experience of selling software packages such as Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge would be an advantage but not essential.
