Field Sales Executive - Nationwide Gym / Health & Fitness Brand

We are a nationwide Gym / Health & Fitness brand and require a great Field Sales Executive for this exciting and varied role.
Job Details:
Responsible for increasing sales and memberships in gyms in Surrey, Essex, Worcs, Derbyshire, Lincs, Notts achieving targets set in sales and retention. Addressing operational issues with the support of Regional Manager’s and General Manager on site.
Principle responsibilities;
New sites – Plan and support sites in both operational and sales and marketing plans to ensure sites achieve target membership within required time frame.
Staff – support manager’s in all aspects of operations and staffing. To include recruitment, appraisals and disciplinary procedures.
Partnership sites – Support all areas of partnered sites. Focus on sales and retention.
Sales and Marketing – Support marketing department by ensuring all sites produce sales and marketing plans. Control spend month on month.
Management – assist the Club and Membership Sales Managers and Sales Executives to; make medium to long term plans, to develop, implement and monitor normal and emergency operating procedures for the operation of the facility;
In particular

Cleanliness and maintenance
Personnel affairs (with head office support) – Club and Membership Sales Manager only.
Customer care
Communication, maintain an open line of communication with head office, Management and all staff levels within facilities.
Other responsibilities;
Administration – Review all sites statistics daily, weekly and monthly. Meet regularly to discuss results and put together action plans to improve performance or address operational issues affecting net gain of members.
Membership stats (New, leavers, net gain)
Finance (Set monthly targets as detailed in budgets)
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and plans for the clubs performance
Review and check daily operational and procedural records.
Report to the company any other relevant information.
Report on budgets and targets both for expenditure and income.
Retention – Introduce and monitor retention strategies & interventions
Training – Deliver training to staff as required and to develop new training courses as required.
Other – Recognise opportunities for new business.
Essential;
Process and people management skills at all levels.
Profit and loss accountability.
A proven track record in multi site membership sales and achieving sales targets
Multi facilities management experience.
Target and budget setting and achieving
Report writing and submission in a timely and accurate manner.
A high level of communication skills, interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision. Must be self-motivated and able to work to own initiative. Must be able to liase with other business partners.
It is an absolute necessity to be available to travel independently and will involve periods of working away from home up and staying away 1 or 2 nights per week.
Working hours Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week.

Training, coaching and development of staff
Sports and fitness coaching qualifications
