Salary: £28,000 basic + Overtime (£32,000 - £36,000) + expenses + travel time + fully expensed company car + mobile + pension + laptop + 25 days holiday.
The Company:
As a Field Service Engineer for this market leading manufacturer you will be working for one of the most well established companies within its field. Originally formed as a family company it is now privately owned by a huge stock listed organization who specialize in manufacturing packaging and process equipment.
The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
A truly International role the position combines Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Repair of filling, cleaning and handling machines. You will be expected to stay away for medium to long periods operating within the food, beverage, and healthcare markets.
Key Skills:
The equipment is technologically advanced and will require a strong electric and electronic background ideally gained through an apprenticeship or similar qualification, this should include the knowledge on how to interrogate and programme PLC’s. Some mechanical skills would also be an advantage as at times you would be working autonomously.
