The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
As a field service engineer you would be given a geographical area to cover, although at times you may need to travel further afield in order to meet the customer requirements. You would be installing, commissioning and servicing the full range of specialised UPS systems at a variety of clients sites visiting anywhere from hospitals, to data centres and leading banks.
Key Skills:
You will need to have both practical and theoretical Electrical/Electronic understanding for the role.
You will need to possess an Electrical/Electronic qualification, and have had experience within an industrial environment (UPS experience or exposure is an essential requirement for the role). Flexibility is of the essence as you may need to travel throughout the UK as well as good customer service skills as you would be representing this highly prestigious company.
