Finalist or Qualified Financial Accountant

My client, based in Suffolk, is currently seeking an ambitious and motivated Finalist or Qualified candidate to join their team in a newly created role at this exciting time for the business.Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will be both financial and commercially based.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of monthly group consolidation
Preparation and update of cash flows and other information for Board
Annual Group Financial Statements preparation
Liaison with other finance teams and MD
Liaison with professional advisors (legal, insurance, bank etc.)
Develop existing accounting system to provide meaningful financial information on divisional basis
Assistance on ad hoc acquisition/disposal projects
Asset management
Additionally you will be helping to rationalise the business and further develop its profitable operations as well as providing the management and operational teams with timely, accurate and effective information to help them run their respective parts of the business.
Although this role is finance-based, it will also be a much broader commercial role which will involve all parts of the business as well as engaging and motivating the existing finance team.
To be successful in your application you will be an ambitious and commercially-minded Finalist or Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and be seeking a wide ranging role which will be fast paced, ever evolving and may require some last minute UK travel.This role may suit a candidate looking for their first move out of Practice.A willingness to learn on the job is essential.
