We are looking to recruit a dynamic, commercially focused Business Analyst to join the Grocery Finance Team at our prestigious Group Head Office in Bradford.
With key internal relationships within our Central Trading and Operations functions, this is an extremely demanding and varied role producing detailed analysis of trading information to drive both profit and sales performance. This integral role works with key stakeholders to support and understand the business issues and investigate, improve and deliver information helping to improve business processes and procedures.
Responsibilities include;
• Consulting with Line Managers to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to improve reporting and process.
• Interpreting data, themes, patterns and trends through data analysis and manipulation
• Lead projects based on providing expertise and support for improving business processes and procedures.
• Provide specialist expertise and practical assistance in the investigation, evaluation and interpretation of data
• Provide input into the forecasting and preparation of plans and budgets to influence the larger organisational annual business plan.
To be successful in the role, you will be part qualified or in the latter stages of completing CIMA/ACCA/ACA or an equivalent qualification. With previous experience in a specialist financial analysis role within a Retail or FMCG environment.
You will be a dynamic, proven communicator with strong influencing and relationship skills. A confident and logical thinker, your attention to detail and methodical approach will be crucial in the investigation, evaluation and interpretation of data.
