Our
client is a leading organisation within
the Cambridge
area and they are now looking for a
Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.
Duties
of the role will include;
Maintaining
the Purchase
ledger system
Ensuring
that the
primary financial records are produced to the
required standards
Ordering
and holding foreign currency as
required
Maintaining
corporate purchasing procedures
Ensure
that staff expenses and benefits are
recorded
Provide
advice and guidance to all staff on relevant financial issues
Undertake
ad hoc tasks to assist with the
smooth running of the department
You
will need to have;
Excellent
communication skills both written
and verbal
A
good understanding of internal control techniques
and procedures
A
proven understanding of the duties
undertaken within this role
Able
to prioritise your own workload
