Finance Assistant Coventry, West Midlands (County) £17000 to £18000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 20/11/2009 21:11 Job Role Daily duties will include: - Assisting with budget preparation
- Assisting in preparation of client four weekly accounts
- Preparing balance sheet analysis and reconciliation
- Preparing client invoices/credit notes
- Preparing weekly fuel reconciliation
- Preparing periodic agency labour reconciliation
- Weekly GL review of prime coding and correction
- Assisting in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Assisting with other admin tasks as required within the Finance team
- As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate:
- PC literate, especially good Excel skills
- Knowledge of Oracle (Finance)
- Previous basic accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Self motivated
- Ability to challenge colleagues and suppliers
