Senior Finance Manager
£50-60,000p/a + excellent benefits
Middlesex / Berkshire borders
Inside Consultancy have the pleasure in working with one of the largest Hi-Tech organisations in the world. This listed organisation are in search for a Senior Finance Manager / Assistant Financial Controller to join there already large finance team.
Role responsibilities;
- General accounting matters including timely accurate and well-controlled processing of financial transactions, internal and external audit, financial accounting etc.
- Analyse potential impact of current and proposed financial plans and work closely with the financial director, business unit managers. Conduct analyses of business performance.
- Ensure high standards of financial reporting (including month end, statutory accounting) in both UK and US GAAP. Tax reporting, SOX documentation, audit & compliance.
- Liaise with both internal and external auditors.
- Prepare management reports, budgets & cash-flow forecasts.
- Working closely with the management and sales teams to grow the business, identify non standard sales terms and conditions with the assistance of the US GAAP technical accounting experts.
- Revenue recognition including inventory accounting in line with US GAAP. (Revenue recognition – SOP 97-2)
Experience / Skills required;
- Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA or ACA
- Experience in US GAAP & SOX
- Revenue recognition experience
- Track record of staff management including training and development.
- Experience with Oracle
