This professional care charity / business in North London, with a T/O of £6m is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager / Management Accountant as deputy to its FD. This Finance Manager / Management Accountant role will take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function and the provision of quality financial, commercial and budgetary information. The role will supervise 2 accounts staff and will encompass preparation of monthly management accounts for the Management Team and the Board of Trustees, management of the cash/working capital in the business, oversee the payroll, insurance and financial admin, prepare VAT returns, liaise with auditors and external advisors, manage lease renewals, prepare annual accounts and ad hoc financial analysis. A varied all round Finance Manager / Management Accountant role, where you will support and learn from an excellent FD. Strong IT skills are required as are good communication skills to liaise with department heads and budget holders. A qualified ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA is preferred, although part qualified would be considered.
