Arthrex are a global manufacturing and distribution business who require a commercially astute Finance Manager to develop their Sheffield site.
This is a truly exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and hands on Finance Manager to really impact the potential of the Sheffield and UK operation of Arthrex.
This newly created position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to establish and run the financial and analytical processes of this growing site. As the senior finance professional you will provide guidance and direction to the finance and admin staff, whilst providing on-time financial reports to group finance and delivering insightful added value commercial information to the General Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support of the General Manager with commercial, business relevant financial analysis.
- Supervision of daily accounts staff, logistic transactions and general ledger postings of those transactions.
- Maximisation of current ERP and reporting system.
- Completion of Monthly closing entries.
- Drafting quarterly financial reporting package to German parent company (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash-Flow).
- Hands on supervision of credit control & cash collection.
As a CCAB qualified accountant with a genuine hands-on approach and commercial outlook, you will be able to provide the drive, direction and information to support the anticipated growth of the Sheffield site.
As Finance Manager you will not be afraid to be involved where necessary in the day-to-day activities of the site, but also be able to deliver information required to senior management both in the UK and Germany.
Ideally with a background in a similar multi-national industry you will have experience in the use of ERP systems and the maximisation of their reporting capabilities. You will be conversant with both UK and US accounting practices and be comfortable as the point of contact for some more technical accounting areas such as VAT and TAX.
