The Company
My client based in East Leeds operate a multi-retail operation boasting a string of branded food and leisure outlets. The site also contains one of the UK,s most popular leisure attractions. Following significant regional growth the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre Financial Controller.
The RoleReporting to the UK Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the financial and management accounting, reporting controls and internal systems, processes and procedures. You will further manage a small dedicated Finance team covering sales/purchase ledger aswell as the cash receipt clerk. In addition your remit covers stock control, fixed assets, inter company invoicing and reconciliation and consolidation of accounts. As No 1 in Finance you will be the first point of contact for audit and preparation of statutory accounts aswell as being an integral part of the senior management team negotiating concession contracts with i house clients. This is an extra-ordinary opportunity to work in a fast paced FMCG environment where you will be constantly challenged in all aspects of Finance and commercial decision making. Qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA with 2/3 years PQE you will be highly numerate with a strong commercial and business acumen. Interviews will take place wk/c 9th and 16th November 09.
