As a result of continued growth, Northern Foods are now looking to recruit a dynamic and forward thinking Finance Manager to join their senior site team.
The role:
To manage all site related financial controls. To continuously develop and implement relevant business measures to meet the needs of the site.
To provide guidance and support to the Accounts team, managing and facilitating staff performance and development and ensuring departmental structure and skills are developed to meet changing job requirements.
To provide budget holders with overhead information for effective review of value and control to include holding of monthly overhead reviews.
To enhance management understanding through ongoing provision of information and education, hence promoting a cost awareness culture.
To continuously develop and implement relevant business measures to meet the needs of the site.
To contribute fully to the continuous improvement in business performance as a member of the senior team.
To actively monitor the working capital levels within the site and to ensure any liabilities are provided for.
To carry out ad-hoc investigation and projects as required.

Job Requirements:Essential criteria:
- Fully qualified in a suitable accounting discipline, e.g. CIMA.
- Ideally from a FMCG background.
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
