Along with having the skills and experience detailed below candidates should mainly haveexperience supporting non finance managers with their budget projections and managing other finance staff to support budget holders.
- Experience of working in a Local Authority Children Services environment.
- Understanding of the Star Chamber and annual budget setting process.
- Understanding of the issues surrounding schools and social care.
- The ability to manage in a pressure situation is essential.
- Must be a qualified account and we will consider candidates who are qualified by experience.
- Ideally they should possess experience of working within a Children & Young People's services or schools department.
