Finance and Reporting Officer (Accounts) – Community Development Organisation – Central London - £27k+

As a Finance Officer you are responsible for the provision of advice to budget holders in the area of financial management of Public Funds, processing transactions, reconciliation and attending regular meetings with budget holders. As part of the finance team, you will assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, cash flow analysis, accrual accounting, costing and annual accounts.
CDF seeks an individual that can offer finance and management accountant experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be confident in generating financial and management reports in a not-for-profit organisation providing the necessary checks and controls.
It is likely that the successful candidate will have the following background and experience:
- 2 years experience in an accounts department
- Excellent understanding and experience of bookkepping and of financial processes and controls
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA, and AAT).
