With a proven track record of organic growth and a reputation for staff development and provision of strong career progression, this leading financial services institution is looking for a pro-active, diligent Financial Accountant to join their Statutory Reporting team.
Reporting directly to Finance Controller, working within a team of ten, your key responsibilities for this role will include the preparation of UK/US GAAP reports; the preparation of the statutory accounts quarterly basis as well as the year-end accounts for the numerous units with the group; planning and implementation of the audit process and liaising with the external auditors to facilitate that process. As the main point of contact for all operational finance you will ensure compliance with company policy and procedure and as full responsibility for developing and maintaining internal reporting processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who possesses strong financial and statutory reporting background. You will have experience of working within a similar industry coupled with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial but not essential.
