Financial Analysis Manager, Sales & Marketing- Yorkshire, required for my GLOBAL Leading Client to support their Sales and Marketing teams in the preparation and analysis of critical management information across the Middles East, Africa and India Region. This new role my clients commitment to growth in this region and the person will need to be a self starter who will develop relationships and work across the Group to provide their teams with quality information, critical to the delivery of the strategic plan for these emerging markets. This information includes the development of MI, the development and monitoring of KPIs and market intelligence specific to different countries.
The individual would also be closely involved in the budgeting and forecasting processes for this region and will be very influential in financial decisions relating to areas such as tactical pricing, the structure of bonus schemes, incentive and rebate schemes etc.
I am keen to speak to someone with very strong accounting skills, part qualified CIMA/ACCA is required - preferably in the final stages (the Company will offer full study support for completion). Successful candidates will understand commercial modelling and is confident in their decision making ability. Excellent communication skills are also important as this person will need to build good working relationships across the Group - working with Accounts, the Commercial Finance team and especially Sales and Marketing.
Essential qualities of our ideal candidate would be confidence, adaptability and resilience. There is a need to be able to look at the bigger picture and assimilate information quickly and accurately. You will also need to be sensitive enough to be able to work effectively within the context of multiple cultures.
A flexible approach to working hours may sometimes be required, due to different time zones and the fact that the role's biggest internal customer is currently based in Dubai. There will also be an amount of travel involved, certainly initially, and this is likely to include travel to Dubai and possibly other Middle East destinations. There are also approximately 6 team meetings held every year - usually in Paris.

Accountabilities
To assist in the development of comprehensive management information tools to provide financial and non-financial KPIs, trends and forecasts for the MEAI business
To analyse the business potential of new countries and emerging markets throughout the MEAI region and make propositions and recommendations to the management team which support the strategy of profitable aggressive growth.
To work closely with the accounting department in the analysis and provision of detailed market, customer and product profitability to support business decisions and development of the MEAI region.
To manage back office support for the MEAI region to include auditing of ethical procedures in both current and potential markets and to act as liaison with legal teams when setting up business operations in new countries.
To provide detailed analysis of core business markets and work closely with local marketing, in order to provide comprehensive market intelligence supporting the sales function.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
CIMA/ACCA qualified to intermediate level with a commitment to subsequent qualification (preferably holds a relevant degree in finance, business or accounting).
First class analytical capabilities developed in a large commercial organisation
Strong accounting skills, with a focus on functional support and business development.
Excellent MIS and IT skills, including Excel (Experience of JD Edwards and VBA would be an advantage).
Ability to work unsupervised in a pro-active manner, actively seeking to improve and enhance the role.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
Desirable
Experience in a sales focused or manufacturing business
Understanding of a general ledger system
