Minimum Requirements : The European Financial Planning and Shared Service is responsible for the financial accounting and financial analysis for URS businesses across Europe and the Middle East. The team in Wimbledon currently consists of 4 people and we are looking to expand the team by hiring a part-qualifed accountant.

Knowledge:
. Advanced knowledge of Excel
. Knowledge of using accounting systems such as JD Edwards and Hyperion
. Understand Foreign Exchange transactions

Skills:
. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
. Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
. Proactive attitude and capable of using initiative
. Persistence, accuracy and time management
. Ability to pick up new systems and methods quickly

Experience:
. Experience of working in a financial accounting/analyst role
. Some experience of management accounts is desirable

Qualifications:
. Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Job Description : The focus of the role is to aid the European Financial Planning and Analysis and Shared services Team in delivering Budgets, Forecasts, Month End deliverables, support to the rest of Europe and other ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities will include :

. Responsible for analysing data and reports for the forecasting and budgeting process.
. Analysing Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements
. Perform Month End accounting functions
. Preparation of the monthly/weekly reports
. Preparation of European Balance sheet reconciliations
. Aid in preparing the deliverables for SEC Reporting
