An exceptional opportunity has arisen within this highly regarded, west-end based Commodity firm. They specialise primarily in the Energy market and over the last year, have experienced phenomenal growth. This is largely due to the commitment of the team, thriving in the current market and producing remarkable half yearly results.
This outstanding client is looking for a Financial Analyst with solid experience in equities.
This will be initially for a 4 months fixed term contract but has every possibility of becoming permanent.
The main responsibilities as a Financial Analyst will include:
1)Monthly financial reporting for the equities trading team, including profit and loss and balance sheet
2)Quarterly VAT preparations and submission to HMRC
3)Daily liaison with Traders, Fund Managers, Fund Administrators
4)Validating the Daily P&L
5)Monitoring the cash movements of all the entities
6)Ad hoc duties
The successful candidate must have an accounting qualification and will be qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA. You must have recent and relevant experience from a commodities house, clearing house or prime brokerage and knowledge of Sun would be a distinct advantage.
