Our client is looking for a Financial Controller for 6 months, with the possible opportunity to go permanent. Duties will include;
- Producing management reports consisting of income statement/balance sheet/FRS1 cashflow and detailed analysis.
- Interpret the accounts to the management team.
- To drive the yearly budget process and to produce forecasts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Understanding the legal's/contracts and how royalties are produced and history.
- Occasionally perform a review of titles and confirm the life time sales.
- Quarterly and monthly VAT and Intrastat returns.
- Managing the Finance Department including staff appraisals, disciplinary issues, etc.
- Dealing with external Auditors.
- Managing the daily cash flow.
- Managing the creditors in terms of payments including full administration of the banking system and final authorisation of all payments made.
- Liaising with parent company.
Candidates will be ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by proven experience. You will also have good Word and Excel skills.
