Dresser-Rand Company is a diversified and global recognized leader in the design and manufacture of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and turbines. We are currently seeking individuals for our Financial Management Acceleration Program (FMAP). Candidates must be hard working and self-motivated, results-driven and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and strong aptitude in accounting and finance.
The Financial Management Acceleration Program (FMAP) is a three year rotational training assignment that allows insight to many accounting and finance disciplines within Dresser-Rand. This program will provide an opportunity to enhance one’s skills in a variety of areas and provide exposure to a full range of management accounting. Work locations may include UK, France, Germany, Norway, and U.S.A.
The candidate will use fundamental accounting and finance concepts and principles to complete various job assignments while learning about the company. Areas of the financial organization that an FMAP candidate may gain exposure to include topics such as: Audit, Project and Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Treasury, Credit and Collections, Forecasting and Budgets, Tax Accounting, and Sarbanes-Oxley and Corporate Governance issues.
Desired Background/Education:
- BS, MS Degree in Accounting2.1 minimum preferred
- Twenty-one (21) hours of accounting courses required
- Two summer work assignments, cooperative education experience or 1-3 years prior work experience required
- Willingness to relocate throughout the UK (generally move 2 times) and willingness to travel worldwide
