Financial Services Administrator – Fareham, Hampshire

The exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading financial management house who provide a large portfolio of pension, investment and protection products to a high net worth client base, both private and corporate.

Supporting the client facing fee earners, you will be responsible for managing the workflow of all applications for a range of products in an accurate and timely manner, publishing figures and statistics based on your workflow and status of client work. You will be the key part of the business between the fee earner and the completion of the client’s application, therefore, you will be a quick thinker with effective time management and a flexible approach to the demands of the role.

In line with business demands, you will also have a range of administrative duties to support the management team which will involve typing, report writing, diary management. You will be working as part of a fun, hard working team where everyone supports each other, therefore, a proven team player is essential.

Suitable candidates will ideally have a minimum of 2 years financial services experience supporting within an IFA or Provider covering a selection of products. As a person you will have a professional, thorough approach with exquisite attention to detail and immaculate self presentation. You will have strong rapport building skills with the confidence and diplomacy to support senior team members and not being afraid of chasing deadlines and saying no! As you will come from a financial services background, you will have a good understanding of how a variety of products are processed and the legal requirements therein.

The salary is £18k - £19k per year dependent on experience, along with this you will be awarded a pension scheme from day one, of which the employer contributes 10% of your salary, Life Assurance of four times your salary, Critical Illness Cover of two times salary, Bupa for partner and any children, free parking, a clothing allowance of £350 a year and a discretionary annual bonus.
