Fire Alarm service/Maintenance engineer required by a well-established small family business based in Surrey, operating in a field based role covering London and Heathrow.
The successful applicant will carry out servicing, Maintenance, and corrective works on fire alarm systems.Must have a sound technical understanding of fire alarm systems and be knowledgeable of BS5839, and have experience in all types of fault-finding. Future works may include the installation and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, so experience in this field would be advantageous but not a necessity as full training will be provided as necessary.
Experience with addressable and conventional fire alarm systems is an essential factor.Sound computer literacy would be preferable, as well as an understanding of different fire alarm manufacturer’s computer software packages (knowledge of Ziton systems would be advantageous but not a necessity).
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to organise time effectively, delivering the high standards to which our clients expect.This role requires the successful candidate to be available for overtime, , and participation in an on-call rota.

THE PACKAGE: £21,000 to £24,000 basic (depending on experience) + callouts + phone + travel expenses (this may include a company vehicle or car allowance)
