To support an ongoing process of organisational & cultural development, Gatwick Airport has been attracting a number of World Class Manufacturing & Engineering professionals over the past 5 years.
As part of this continuous improvement programme, we are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineering Manager to take responsibility for the optimal performance, condition, safety & reliability of the Airport’s Fire, Security & Safety Asset Systems… in a commercially front-line, operationally complex, and reputation-critical environment.
As the role is responsible for a team of maintenance engineering technicians (plus additional specialist support as required), strong operational / engineering management experience is required… with highly effective leadership, coaching& influencing skills.
In addition, we are looking for candidates from Maintenance Management backgrounds, in a major building, mechanical, electrical services or security facilities… with a genuine commercial & customer focus… delivering continuous improvement in team & asset performance; ideally with knowledge of engineering specific safety related standards & regulations (e.g. Fire Systems, COSHH, Legionella, pressure systems…)
