Fleet Engineer - Manchester
Salary
£48k + Package & Bonus
Our client are a leading bus operator within the UK and they require an experienced Fleet Engineer to join their team in their Manchester office.
Role Description
The role will require you to be responsible for the efficient, cost effective maintenance and presentation of a fleet of 680 vehicles to exacting standards and managing a maintenance team of approximately 100 staff.
You will be required to ensure the availability of the fleet to meet customer requirements and satisfaction. You must build a sustainable maintenance programme and first time repair process within an agreed budget.
You will be also required to comply to all health & safety regulations within the work place to ensure the safety of your team.
Required Experience
Candidates must have minimum qualifications in an electrical or mechanical discipline to apprenticeship level or be able to demonstrate similar experience.
Candidates will have experience in similar sectors i.e. PCV/LGV and be able to demonstrate a good track record with a minimum of five years maintenance experience in a similar role.
