Salary: c.£30K + bonus
Location: Bristol area, Avon, South West of England
This is not a home-based position. Candidates either based within easy daily commuting distance to the Bristol area or willing to relocate to the area.

The Company:
Well-established international manufacturing organisation based in the Bristol area, Avon, part of an international group.
The Role:
To further develop its export business our client is looking for a solid and confident individual able to seek and convert new accounts as well as
manage part of the existing customer base. Focus will be initially on developing the French market, followed by further sales initiatives across several European countries (e.g. Germany, Scandinavia and Spain).
The ideal candidate, together with proven commercial skills, will be able to show hands-on attitude as well as technical competence.
Duties
- Identifying and converting prospective business to achieve company’s sales goals and
profitability
- Assisting in all the different phases of the export sales plans including producing market
research, approaching target accounts, participating in the quoting and ordering processes.
- Initiating and coordinating the development of actions plans to penetrate new markets
- Maintaining contact will all the clients in the target areas to ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction
- Working out of hours and travelling to meet customers and agents in the territory
- Attend and participate at international trade shows
- Communicating internally with all departments (e.g. inside sales, engineering, warehouse,
production) to achieve customer satisfaction
The Candidate:
French speaker to mother tongue standard essential.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Other language skills a bonus
Proven experience in a sales role
Excellent customer service and commercial development skills
Enthusiastic, confident and motivated individual
Target driven
Team worker
Strong communication skills, particularly good telephone skills and manners
Technical degree desired
Either based within easy daily commuting distance to the Bristol area or willing to relocate to the area (not a home-based position)
