An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Based Fluid Technician to join our Global client on a Part Time basis. This is a very rare opportunity to provide cover for approximately 20 weeks a year however, you may be required to provide more days and weeks cover as and when required. The area the role covers will include Leeds, Liverpool, Cheshire and Derby and would maybe suit a semi retired professional who is looking for a few weeks work per year.
My client is looking for a team player who has the ability to work under pressure in a high volume manufacturing environment with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You will be required to sample coolants and wash fluids from various locations throughout the plant and analyse the results using lab equipment such as PH Meters, Refractometers and other lab items.
There will be full training provided however, knowledge of lab analysis would be a distinct advantage. The ideal applicant will have their own transport as you will be travelling to various sites with the client covering all expenses incurred. You will also have an understanding of Health and Safety requirements with a working knowledge of excel spreadsheets.
