We are recruiting for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to work within a modern property in the Surrey area. Our client has facilities for private functions including parties and weddings and prides its self on offering pristine facilities to its guests and members.
As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be managing a team, while reporting into the Restaurant Manager who will offer you support. In the absence of the Manager you'll be responsible for the day to day management of the restaurant, maintaining and improving current standards. You will also be responsible for the motivation and mentoring of the team, co-ordinate staff ensuring they complete their daily duties, setting staff objectives, have in-depth knowledge of all menus, advising customers on wine selection, ensuring department hits revenue budget, dealing with customer complaints, to co-ordinate food and beverage in line with special events, present a positive image to all guests and other duties to be confirmed.
The successful Food and Beverage Supervisor must have worked as a Food and Beverage or Restaurant Supervisor in a hotel previously and be used delivering high results as well as having a confident out going personality as you will be the face of the restaurant.
You will work 45 hours per week, as our client encourages a work life balance.
