Foundry Metallurgist / Contract Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of innovative products and services to the Power, Cement, Mining and Freight Rail industries globally.
They currently require an experienced foundry person or foundry Metallurgist to join the management team at their Scunthorpe Plant.
The plant has capabilities of up to 20 tonne high integrity castings in iron and steel therefore a candidate with ferrous foundry experience and preferably foundry metallurgy experience / qualifications would be held in high regard.
Turnover can be up to 7000 tonnes per annum and products are supplied to a variety of markets including Europe, South Africa and USA as well as the UK.
The main purpose of this position is to ensure quotations are provided in accordance with the capabilities of the plant and contracts and orders are reviewed and submitted for production to ensure customer requirements can be met in terms a quality and design.
The skills required would include the ability to read engineering drawings, computer literacy (position will involve certain amount of data entry) and good communication skills to promote the attributes of the business.
This is a senior staff position and a competitive salary package will be offer to the right candidate.
