FREIGHT SALES OFFICE MANAGER – Freight Forwarding & Logistics
Offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum + Bonus Structure
We are seeking a SALES OFFICE MANAGER to manage and motivate an Inside Sales Team within the Freight Forwarding industry. The role will be working closely with and supporting a team of Internal Sales personnel who are responsible for responding to rate requests for Airfreight, Seafreight and European Roadfreight Import & Exports. Providing quotations, following up quotations, identifying new business routes and markets with existing customers, regaining lapsed customers, securing Sales Appointments for the external sales team etc.
The role of Sales Office Manager will be to create a sales buzz within the internal sales team, to encourage and motivate the team to achieve their personal and team sales targets every month, create new incentives and identify areas of concern for retraining. Creating a level of urgency and a proactive approach, leading by example and over coming customer objectives to secure freight bookings.
