FRENCH 1st LINE IT HELPDESK SUPPORT LEVEL 1

Our client, based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is a world leading software development company.

To be based at their EMEA Technical Centre, they wish to employ a French speaking 1st Line Helpdesk Support Advisor. 

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Provide quality telephone technical support to French speaking business customers at 1st Line helpdesk level (IT managers etc.)
• Resolve 80% of all calls at 1st line
• Maintain a 100% or higher efficiency rating with your call statistics
• Increased 1st call closure
• Awareness of best practices for case management / customer interaction
• Participate in team activities including but not limited to meetings and Training
• Maintain a customer satisfaction rating

To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and background:

• Fluency in French and English both written and spoken
• Experience of working at a level 1 support role / helpdesk in any IT discipline
• Be highly organised, analytical & articulate
• Have excellent problem, analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Have strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• An ability to multi-task and prioritise job requirements & strong personal organization skills is required
• Good knowledge of working with a variety of computer operating systems and software with emphasis on navigation, basic troubleshooting, upgrading, and some client/server operations
• Be willing to progress towards or completion of certifications with Microsoft, Novell, Lotus, Unix, Cisco and others is an advantage
• Personal computing skills in Networking, Win 2000, XP, and NT workstation.
