Our Kitchen and Bathroom departments are a true focus for driving the business forward and we want you to help us do that!

THE ROLE
This is a brand new role, within our stores, and you will be the first point of contact within our Kitchen and Bathroom department. You will be responsible for warmly approaching customers, initiating a dialogue to establish their wants/needs/desires and demonstrating products - discussing the different features and benefits of our ranges with confidence, explaining that Wickes can offer a full solution for the whole room (including tiles, flooring, lighting and paint), as well as a high quality installation service that offers excellent value for money.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Previous experience within a customer facing role, ideally in the Retail/Sales/Leisure/Hospitality sectors or a similar fast paced, customer focused environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Confident and can do attitude is a must
* Ability to approach customers and build rapport
* Passion for customer service
* Ambition, drive and enthusiasm
* Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for driving store and personal sales targets

*For information, our stores operate between 07:00 and 21:30 Monday to Saturday and 09:00 to 18:00 on Sundays and all colleagues are required to be flexible to cover weekdays, weekends or evenings on a rota basis*
