An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this leading children’s charity’s Local Fundraising department as a Volunteer Development Manager.
Managing a team of two you will be responsible for working with the Head of the Volunteer Development to deliver the Volunteer Strategy in Local Fundraising.
You will work closely with your team to provide support to the volunteers in the Branch & District network that fundraise across the UK. You will manage relationships with senior volunteers, facilitate volunteer forums, develop best practice in volunteering, and provide suitable training and development for volunteers.
You will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of building successful relationships with senior level individuals. You will have highly developed leadership, management and team building skills, and the ability to control and monitor a budget. You will have excellent project management skills and experience of managing a wide and varied workload.
