Games Developer / Programmer - Computer Games Development - Singapore
A successful, high profile Computer Games Developer is now inviting applications for the position of Games Developer / Games Programmer / Online Software Engineer to work on a Computer Games Development project based full time in Singapore, South East Asia.
You will work directly with the Online Lead Programmer and Technical Director to develop the online networking and server infrastructure for a large scale PC based MMOG. You will develop server based game modules and tools, systems and game technology required for an MMOG in C++ and custom script languages.
Requirements
*Strong C/C++ skills.
*At least 3 years experience in a similar role
*Experience developing networked and/or online game systems.
*Ability to work within an existing code framework and/or create new technology from the ground up.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Strong work ethic.
*Strong knowledge of common software design patterns.
*Tertiary qualifications in a computing related field - Computer Science degree or similar.
*Experience working on a team.
Salary is in the region of S$30,000 to S$54,000 (Singapore Dollars) depending on experience (due to the very favourable tax regime in Singapore this is roughly equivalent to £25,000 to £32,000).
The role will suit individuals currently working as Games Developer, Games Programmer, Online Software Engineer, Software Engineer and living within a commutable distance of Singapore, South East Asia or willing to relocate.
