GENERAL SERVICES COORDINATOR/FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS TERMINAL
MILFORD HAVEN, SOUTH WEST WALES

This company, which owns and operates the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Europe is now looking to recruit a General Services Coordinator/Facilities Supervisor to join them in Milford Haven.

The General Services Coordinator/Facilities Supervisor will coordinate, plan and direct the provision of general services for the company`s offices and plant, covering office services, transportation, security, travel and catering. You will plan and control all such activities, set standards and develop procedures, business plans and budgets for such activities. Furthermore, you will negotiate with procurement support contracts for services and material purchases and also serve as a member of various committees and task forces as assigned by the terminal management.

The successful applicant will need a BA degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent. Extensive experience in office services, contracts and building maintenance, catering services and security services, preferably with a major industrial company is essential. Good written and spoken English is also required for this role.

In the years ahead, the world will continue to face many energy challenges as we meet the growing energy needs of the global economy in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible way. This terminal will play a vital part in how this can be achieved. The terminal adds to the UK\`s LNG import capacity and energy diversity with the ability to deliver up to 2 Bcf/d into the natural gas grid when it reaches full operational capacity by the end of 2009. The terminal includes five LNG storage tanks, a regasification plant, ship unloading systems and a jetty to allow berthing of the world\`s largest LNG vessels.

Career prospects are excellent at this company as are the many benefits of living in a rural part of coastal south west Wales with its reasonably priced housing to rent or purchase and empty roads making commuting to work a real pleasure.
