Our client is seeking to recruit a Generator Test Engineer to join their team based in Stafford.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing electrical and mechanical testing on rotors.
- Liaising with design function, field service personnel and customers.
- Analysis and reporting of the test results.
- Production of tenders and proposals for products and services.
Applicants applying must possess:
- HNC qualification.
- Experience of electrical testing with large generator rotors, stators and exciters.
- Ability to conduct full range of generator offline and online, electrical and mechanical tests including high voltage ac and dc testing.
