GERMAN-SPEAKING ON BOARD DIAGNOSIS DIESEL CALIBRATION EXPERT

We are now seeking a German-speaking On Board Diagnosis Diesel Calibration Expert to join this global company which specialises in the development of powertrains (combustion engines, hybrid systems, electric drive) as well as simulation and test systems for passenger cars, trucks and marine engines.
In this role you will be responsible for the calibration of the Diagnosis and On Board Diagnosis functions of Motor and Transmission control systems for passenger cars, trucks and Non-Road Diesel applications. You will undertake the development of methods and tools as well as calibration processes for future On Board Diagnosis requirements. You will also provide technical guidance to the Project workers and project management or part project management of Diagnosis projects. You will take care of series start ups in collaboration with their customers.
The successful applicant should have a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics as well as a significant level of work experience. An understanding of combustion motors, sensors, Diesel motors, software structures and algorithms is required. You will be happy to travel and have a flexible working style with the ability to make independent decisions. German, as well as a good level of English are required for this role. Any other languages would be a plus.
