Opportunity for a Glass, Windows and Fenestration Assessor to join a leading company which specialises in training and development for key companies across Kent and the UK.Salary package for the Glass, Windows and Fenestration Assessor will be c£25k car allowance + bonus + pension + healthcare + life assurance.
The position is initially for a 14-month contract period until the end of 2010.You will be based out of their offices in Medway, but the role includes travel across Kent and south London.
To apply for the role of Glass, Windows and Fenestration Assessor you MUST have NVQ level 2 or 3 in Glass, Windows and Fenestration, and ideally you will also have an Assessor qualification.Manufacturing and installation experience is a pre-requisite.
Glass, Windows and Fenestration Assessor will be joining an organisation which provides accredited courses and work-related qualifications.Growth in training for the glass and glass related occupations sector has created a position to provide training and NVQ assessment using GQA (Glass Qualifications Authority) qualifications.
Main Job Function:
To monitor and assess apprentices and other learners at work in their companies across Kent and south London
Candidate Requirements:
NVQ level 2 or 3 in Glass, Windows and Fenestration
Ideally an Assessor qualification, A1 or D32/33
Windows, Glass and Fenestration practical experience including manufacturing and installation, double-glazing
A good communicator with an interest in working with people and assisting them to gain qualifications
Basic IT systems such as word processing and spreadsheets
Have a full driving licence and use of your own car
